Gabrieli Roar is part of the renowned Gabrieli Consort & Players, and is a young choral scheme working in partnership with schools and youth choirs across the UK, challenging vast numbers of young singers to perform alongside professional musicians. In December 2022, Gabrieli Roar will be touring a Praetorius programme including Schutz Magnificat, visiting eight cathedrals between 29 November – 6 December, aiming to work with over 2000 young singers across the country.
Headed by Schola Cantorum and other singers, we are delighted to be performing at Peterborough Cathedral, alongside Peterborough Cathedral Choir and many choirs from local primary schools. A rewarding evening of music-making surely for the taking.
