The Economics department awarded top prizes in its inaugural Intra-House Economics Competition to three New House girls.
Held in conjunction with the Financial Times Young Journalist of the Year, the competition set essay titles for three age groups.
Alice Sze wrote about the role that the finance sector can play to help us move to lower carbon economies and mitigate the impacts of climate change; Minnie Wang wrote about financial literacy for young people; Tyan Lee wrote about the changes in the banking industry that we can expect to see in twenty years’ time.
Each girl won £100 of vouchers, and helped New House take home the House trophy.
