We’re delighted to be hosting the Combined Schools Pipe Band Training Day, beginning at 11:00. But this isn’t just any training day! Specialised workshops on Practice Chanters and Drum Pads, and a full band practice including the honing of band craft and drill techniques. Weather permitting, we’ll even take the music outdoors for an exhilarating marching session.
All pipers are welcome to collaborate with like-minded musicians from top local schools and play in a full band setting. And an audience is welcome at 15:00 to conclude the day!
